Next Goal: Catch the College Cup by Emily B9508007


Extra! Extraspecial! The Basketball team of Taiwan Tech passed it’s qualification for the College Cup Level A basketball game. It had been established about five to six years, and every year the team takes part in the College Cup basketball game. Recently, many physical educated recommended student of basketball joined the team, it became up-and-up under the guide of an outstanding coach. Even though it couldn’t fight into the final game this year, this is the beginning of advancement.

According to Jimmy Hong , the leader of basketball team ; their training programs focused on physical training and individual action adjusting in usual. Every week, they had two days of aerobic weight training, three days of team practice, and shot training in one morning. Comparing with the preparation before the game, they focused on physical adjusting and team tactics planning. Jimmy felt that players were well-performance in this time of the game, and the result of the game was acceptable. “The key point of our success is the perfect defense. Every player does their best to defend. “But the reason of our loss is turnovers. Because our team was lack of experience and players’ physical situations were not good enough, we lost many opportunities of getting points.” Especially, in these series games, our team fought into overtime games with some well-trained teams for two days at a stretch. In the future, they’ll improve themselves with teamwork and physiological function and learn from others’ advantages to train, as the reduction of faults. The team expects to go into the final game next time, and wins the honor for Taiwan Tech.

hello, I'm Mico. I have been seen they practice in one day's morning. They are very hard. I believe 'no pain no gain', so they must could have a great grade on next game.
