Choosing college courses is self-determined, but would be worrisome. After we take the courses our school requires and the classes that are required for our major, what should we take? Some of the classes are easy to pass or get high grades, but we will not learn a lot from them. While some classes are more difficult to get high grades, but they will be useful in our future career or they are more valuable because they offer useful knowledge.

Choosing college courses is self-determined, but would be worrisome. After we take the courses our school requires and the classes that are required for our major, what should we take? Some of the classes are easy to pass or get high grades, but we will not learn a lot from them. While some classes are more difficult to get high grades, but they will be useful in our future career or they are more valuable because they offer useful knowledge.
I want to learn a lot during college but also get high grades. However, it’s difficult to have both two. The teachers who teach the informative classes are usually earnest and strict. They expect us to gain something from them. Thus, the assignments and pressure we have are more than others. Even we study hard and prepare more; we might not get high credits still. Therefore, somebody may choose easier classes to get high scores. The teachers do not care whether you study or not, especially in a big lecture hall class where the professor doesn’t know you. Even we don’t have to go to class sometimes. In addition, some students just choose what they have interest because they don't want to study the courses that they are not interested in.
Maybe a college student should thinks “What is the purpose of being a college student?” If you just want to get a bachelor’s degree, you can choose easier courses to pass. Provided you want to learn a lot with high grades, I think you need to manage your time well.
In high school, teachers will tell us to read pages 35-48 for class tomorrow and to start working on the paper. In college, the professors give us a syllabus. It tells us when readings need to be done and when assignments are due. We need to take the syllabus from all of our classes and figure out how to best divide up our time. I think it’s the best way to have both and it’s an important thing I have to learn.
